A wide range of pests and diseases have been recorded as affecting Bidens pilosa including Sonchus yellow net virus, Bidens mosaic virus, Cladosporium sp., Alternaria sp., Penicillium sp., Aspergillus sp. and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum
